Youth Development
Platinum Leadership collaborates with community and faith-based organizations as they develop excellence in their work with young people. While acknowledging youth as “leaders of tomorrow,” we know many young people are leaders today. Our work in this area focuses on:
- Youth Development – strengthening young people’s leadership skills
- Organizational Development - assisting communities and organizations to align their priorities and resources to better support young people and their families
Our services for youth-serving organizations include strategic planning, facilitation, training, and conflict resolution. We deliver these in a variety of formats including conferences, retreats and workshops. We also support, coach and mentor youth-serving professionals one-on-one, acknowledging the pivotal role they play in young people’s lives.
We want to make a difference in the lives of teenagers and young adults, making it more likely for them to have the developmental assets they need to thrive. In helping young people develop their leadership skills, we strengthen our communities today and cultivate the communities we desire for tomorrow. For these reasons, we regard positive youth development as part of our core business, and offer discounted rates for youth-serving organizations.
